Last night I invited my international colleagues to Aliqapu restaurant. We were 15 and all were very much happy of everything, great service, smily and polite staffs, quiet atmosphere, very beautiful and romantic design and off course fantastic, very delicious food. I believe that Aliqapu is the best persian restaurant in Melbourne.If you want to have a great persian function or if it is your first time to experience persian food Aliqapu is the best.
Would have given a 5 if this was just based on the food but the service was terrible. Our waitress took forever to come and actually take our order, we had to flag her down and ask for water constantly throughout the meal.The food took a very long time to come out and then there was a huge delay between our entrees and mains. They forgot about one dish entirely as well.As for the food, the dips were fantastic, the stews all had so much flavour and the Shish meats were all cooked excellently!
This is a delicious, authentic Persian restaraunt with great service and ambience. One of my favourite places to go!
