On first entering the cafe, it is a little bit small and dark; not the most modern looking cafe interior expected, nor is the display of the food the most appealing. However, the small cakes ordered from the restaurant were extremely delicious and creative brownie points for including bold chocolate and nut flavours. There larger cakesare slightly expensive, and I reckon I could see the same, or a better result, from neighbouring cafes, however, I am a large fan of their small cakes (particularly their signature Pleasure Dome) which I do highly recommend you try!
We got the hazelnut cake for my mums birthday. The top is covered with a layer of hazelnut praline and the cake itself has layers of sponge with chocolate mousse. Were glad that my mum really enjoyed the cake!
