Id heard about this restaurant for years but had never tried it til this year and I suspect this would be one of my new favs.
Deco is cool & staff are attentive. And the food is hella tasty. The sizzling saganaki is a favourite of mine but what I love the most is their bread and dips. Bread is fresh n tasty and all the dips Ive tried there has been delicious and addictive! Ive had the king prawns too and their lunch sets and enjoyed them as well.
It is not cheap however but I do think it is worth it. My only down is that the desserts sound uninspiring but I havent tried them so they could be great.

My partner organised a dinner for me being that Id never eaten at Hellenic Republic before and she has mentioned how great the food is a number of times.. she couldnt have been more right, from the start the service was very polite and prompt and made you feel very welcomed, we chose the Hellenic health which is a banquet still which had pita, mixed olives, grilled halloumi and afew little other pieces which was a great start,
Then our mains were the lamb shoulder which was one of the best Ive ever had, and the kotopoulo which is a chicken of the spit dish and full of flavour, I legit cant express how good the food is here it was such a pleasant surprise and I will be dining here again,

Good service and the food was generously served and extremely tasty.
For starters we shared had:
Garlic pita – which were generously dusted with herbs
Halloumi – not too salty and was perfectly balanced with a small amount of sweetness that was heated on the sizzling plate
Lamb buns – the Greeks answer to the pork bun. Was delish and I could have eaten a plate of these to myself.
Mains we had:
Kingfish crudo – which was one of the specials of the night and was like a Greek ceviche which was well balanced
Lamb shoulder – which just fell away from the bone at the slightest touch but was probably a touch too salty.
Cucumber salad – very light and a great palate cleaners
Feta chips – because, of course!
Desserts:
Bakalava parfait – generously served but very tasty. A good one to share!
Attended a function here and the food was great. Will have to go back for dinner but all in all it was good. Saganaki was a standout did not like the rice pudding but thats a personal preference as others around me really enjoyed
Really enjoyed my dinner here. 15 plates of awesome greek food. Loved it. Presentation, taste, atmosphere was great! I would come here again.
