Love the food here. Beautiful authentic Indian cuisine. Delicious! They offer two level of spice options for the curries – Aussie Hot or Indian Hot!! Love it 🙂 Very friendly attentive staff. Highly recommended.
Acceptable Indian food with friendly service and reasonable ambience. I had the lentil curry, which I liked, but found the vegetable briyani rather too aromatic and the raita too sweet. However, I would still recommend it.
A new addition to Kew’s growing Indian restaurant scene, India @ Kew offers up light, fresh curries accompanied by pleasant service.
The key differentiator between this restaurant and its local competition would be less dairy in the curries and the addition of chaat to the menu. Less dairy means lighter curries that are not as thick or rich in their flavours. However, they are refreshing with bursts of spices.
It really depends on how you like your curry.
A solid addition to the local food scene that will most likely be here to stay.
My family ordered take-away and it was excellent. The fish curries were delicious. Samosas and tandoori curry were also wonderful. The food was hot and tasted very fresh. The servings were generous. Would very highly recommend.
Would most definitely recommend India @ Q as a fine place to dine,
This family-run business is new on the block of High Street Kew, and hopefully it is here to stay, I went in for lunch with two family members, and we all found ourselves well-fend for only $50.50 collectively.
My parents loved their dishes, and they managed to cater to my vegan diet extremely well, The vegetable korma was stewed to perfect flavour and served with a large portion of rice and naan bread which was very filling, tasty and reasonably priced.
Above all, the three of us agreed that the samosas were the best we had ever tasted. For $6.90 we received two which had a perfect layer of pastry and delicious vegetables inside. Unlike more commercial samosas which have vegetable mush and grease, these were freshly cooked and very sizable.
The aesthetic was nice and simple and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The service was quick and the man who served us was a very kind and friendly gentleman who informed us that his father was the chef. I feel all the more compelled to support this business with this in mind, but even without knowing it I would still encourage people to support the establishment,
The online downfall is that there is a coffee machine on premises which is misleading; India @ Q does not do coffee, the machine is simply there for advertising purposes. But after such a hearty meal I would barely have room for a coffee anyway.
Good service, great food and terrific prices make India @ Q an absolute yes for all hungry locals.
We ordered take-away and it was fantastic. We ordered naan, chicken tikka masala, and vindaloo. Would highly recommend. Give this new restaurant a try!
Truly excellent Indian casual eatery. All curries were very well flavoured, and intense. Particularly liked the Madras Lamb (very tender), and really good breads. Very good value. I think it is the best Indian in quite a large radius.
