Best gourmet pizza in Borondaara. Forget the chains, this is the good stuff (woodfired).
It is a nice little place and the owner knows most locals by name. They also host good bigger parties, do caterimg and delivery, and have some of the best risottos and pastas this side of the city.
I went to La Q tonight. We had spaghetti with sea food and prawns. It was delicious. Hot, fresh and really good. It is a while since I have been there and tonight the good was especially good .
Been eating here with my family for years, always been a fan.
Just went veganabout two years ago and have been consistently pleased with how La Q has managed this. All their meatless pizzas and pastas can be done dairy-free and still taste delicious.
Would definitely recommend the pumpkin risotto. And the roast vegetable pizza tastes stunning even without cheese to bind it together. Can’t have any of the desserts unfortunately, but my family loves the Lemon Tart.
Service people are very kind, music is delightful, atmosphere is very relaxing.
Delivery can be a bit slow at times, but it’s much better to eat in anyway.
Ordered pizza from here on Friday night using uber eats. The delivery was good but the pizza was awful, oily, cheap products that made us unwell afterward
Worst pizza we’ve ever had. Base was undercooked, not much topping, no flavour. Way overpriced for the quality of food. Won’t be returning anytime soon
