  Beautiful location in the middle of Studley park. Extremely casual and overall great ambient feels.

  Friendly and attentive staff, made the meal super relaxed.

  Crispy fish and chips were great quality and tasted very fresh. The batter was extra crispy and the salad had the perfect combination of salad greens.

  The calamari salad was a hit and miss. Although the calamari is definitely one of the best I’ve eaten in recent memory, it doesn’t mix very well with the extra sweetness of the salad. The sweetness of the honey was too overpowering and a distraction throughout the dish.

  Greatly selection of drinks to choose from. The long island iced tea cocktail was an absolute delight to drink on a sunny weekend afternoon.

  One thing I do have to mention is that the prices are quite dear for the proportions provided. But honesty it can be expected due to the sheer location of the place and view of the Yarra River.

  Great place to rewind and relax on a Saturday Arvo. Would be exceptionally rewarding after a paddle in the Yarra River just steps away.

  Lovely tranquil view and surroundings. Great with kids who can easily spend a whole afternoon there (boat/canoe hire, walks..) We ate at the cafe on the balcony – service was good, food was simple but good. Perfect sunny afternoon with family.

  Came here on valentine’s day this year, thinking that it would be a treat of a surprise for my fiance who loves a big breakfast. I left feeling like my gift was terrible and I would have been better off cooking him a home made breakfast. The ambiance of Studley Park cafe was lovely – it is a quaint place surrounded by serene views. However it is clear that it is under new management since the previous posts and reviews. The staff do not communicate well with one another, as different waiters came to ask us the same question several times while we were trying to enjoy our special time together. The food was also sub-standard. My bread was soggy from excess juice from the sauteed mushrooms, the hollandaise sauce was not fresh and I paid $4.50 for half an avocado on the side. I would not recommend eating here, as anyone could cook a better meal at home.

  Nice view, relatively well priced food and drink. Had a latte and scones with jam. The latte was nice but the scones were a little dry. Will probably come back again to see if I enjoy it more next time.

  Despite what it says on sites like weekend notes they do not allow dogs in the outdoor area – staff let us sit there with a dirty table and no menus for ages and only spoke to us when they wanted to tell us the dog wasn’t allowed in alfresco. Rude. Bad service. Waste of time coming here.

  Awesome environment. Terrible coffee. Decent chips. Dry scones. Everything feels overpriced but I guess you pay for environment rather than food or drinks. Good place to summer Chillaxing…some chips and beer…watch day goes by while your kids run around chasing ducks and birds.

  Had the best lunch here today. The food was delicious, the views are of course lovely, but it was the staff who made it an extra special experience. They were all so nice – from the two young boat hire guys downstairs who rushed over to carry my & my friend’s prams up the stairs to the waitresses who were attentive, friendly + brought extra bread for no cost when we still had dips left over I cannot compliment them enough. Fabulous customer service seems to be so rare these days, but these guys have it nailed. Definitely going back asap. New fave.
