Don’t miss this
Oh dear. The restaurant is in an industrial area and across the road is Eastlink. When we pulled up I thought that it might have originally been a cafe for the nearby factories. The woman who greeted us then disappeared. A while later our entrees came out. The usual Indian stuff. Nice. A little on the spicy side. Which would have not been such an issue if we’d had drinks – even water. good deliciouz
Love the food here. Everything was home made so no shortcuts here. The service is super awesome. Also they host special events here as well.
Would recommend this place to anyone.
Wasnt able to get in touch, I think it might be permanently closed. Have heard good things though. More an FYI.
Plus I wish it open the photos are amaze.
Had dinner with my partner Anil Chopra tonight. The owner Norman was a very pleasant 🙂 and gave very friendly service. Me and my partner have had quite a few Indian dishes from many restaurants, however this dinner was different. From the first bite of my mix veg curry I was intrigued, the mix of spices was very unique and I enjoyed it a lot, it became my favourite after a few spoons ! My partner also really enjoyed his butter chicken. Most of all I loved the music in the background ! Love grease tracks . The quality of the food was definetly the standout! highly recommended and will be back soon.

Then the main man appeared. I suspect he had done a delivery. He found us a jug of water for six of us, and gave us four mismatched glasses to drink from. We then got our wine that came with our deal – which seemed to be a very sweet dessert wine. Mains then came – a chefs sampling of traditional Indian dishes plus rice, naan and a curious pumpkin and cous cous salad (was this the modern part?). Food was all fine but nothing extraordinary. If you lived locally this would be a great take away joint. But as a restaurant – the service, decor and music choices let it all down.
We went to Modern Indian for the first time and we very enjoy the food. Especially the butter chicken was so dedicious. The rest of Food taste very good we would go back.
