Called here for brunch and thought we’d enjoy a cuppa and something to eat. I ordered the Devonshire Tea with a cup of tea. Served in reasonable time but very disappointed.
Scones were not fresh and barely luke warm. Had jam and cream on them, but cream was a concoction out of a can – saw them do it at counter. Thought give the benefits of a doubt.
Then tasted scones, not just luke warm but not fresh. Very crumbly and tasted a day or two old.
Jam and cream should be in dishes for customer to put on scones as desired and not on them.
And fresh whipped cream – not stuff out of a can.
Would have enjoyed my meal much more by going to McDonalds in the food court there.
