What a wonderful hidden gem of South Gippsland. Called in from the way home from the Prom only to be greeted with a fine selection of European treats. The Spanakopita was so good that we asked if we could order one to take home. The lovely Croatian owner baked a fresh one whilst we ate. We will be regulars there in future.
Called in here as looking for a cafe for a cuppa and bite for lunch. Wasn’t sure if open but walked inside through open door and asked lady at counter if kitchen still open. She checked with chef and they were. I ordered the mousska and my wife the BLT on turkish bread, both with a pot of tea. Tea came out in minutes, and not long after our meals did. They looked delicious and served with a nice garden salad. And they both tasted as good as they looked. Definitely be back as keen to try their breakfast on our next visit to Korumburra.
Corner Garden Cafe has a relaxed atmosphere in an attractive garden setting, or inside decorated by local artists. I had a hearty English breakfast today but have also enjoyed the fresh cooked European style food – moussaka, meat balls, savoury pastries, donuts etc.
Now renamed to The Corner Garden Cafe, this little tucked away cafe has a great little courtyard, a MASSIVE orange sign and an orange coffee machine to suit. We stopped in to enjoy some of their delicious, freshly made jam doughnut as well as someCoffee (milky but ok for this area)
Loved the chai tea very nice blend with the soy milk and the cakes were good. Service was very good as well. However I haven’t been back since it changed hands.
