By far one of my favorite places to eat, the food is always outstanding, service is great, really lovely and cosy place, had the best wine ever there, pity we’ve moved from the area!
Fabulous Food & Service. A couple of days ago I visited Mrs Smith’s in Kyneton for the first time, and it won’t be my last. I ordered the prawn omelette which was served steaming hot and tasted delicious & as a special at $14 – unbelievably great value. Waiter was friendly and helpful & the restaurant had a real comfortable ambience.Phill Jury (food critic & writer)

I have visited this cosy intimate restaurant on probably 10 -12 occasions. I have nothing but praise for the service, decor and food. It’s a fantastic location on a cold miserable Kyneton winters day seated near an open fire. A fine day the front lawn / garden is a beer garden in heaven. The waiter is friendly, attentive and a laugh. The tap beer is Brunswick Bitter & Collingwood Draught are mothers milk. I have always found the food to be of excellent standard better than Annie Smithers and a much more pleasant decor! It is the stand out in Kyneton which has some stiff competition.
