Love this place, always very consistent with their meals. Reasonably priced, friendly service. They do accept eftpos so not sure why is says Cash only on here.
Reasonable Chinese at reasonable prices. Typical country town restaurant with service to match. Not the quickest place for a meal but it was fine for a good fill.
This was a terrible, bland waste of money. We threw half out.
So inconsistent. We’ve eaten here a few times, and mostly it has been the simple Australian-chinese standards done ‘ok’. Sweet & Sour pork is great. Sadly, the quality varies immensely, and takeaway has been, on one occassion, inedible. Our last foray saw us as the ONLY people in the restaurant. Ready to order, we made eye contact with a staff member, who was cleaning a nearby table. She went back to cleaning the table, until someone walked in to order takeaway. Inexplicably, she then went to their service, and stood there smiling while the customer read half the menu out loud to himself, then got into a debate with himself over whether he wanted the honey prawns. Our expressions, and open mouths, had no effect on her.We watched for 5 minutes, then simply got up and walked out, leaving behind our untouched drinks and rubbery prawn crackers. If you are in Kyneton, and want delicious Chinese food, your best bet is to go to Woodend and eat in at Khao Jao.
