This cafe is located on Piper Street. It was an early morning so needed a hot beverage as it was freezing. Service is pretty friendly. The coffee was not that cheap. It was $4.50 for a medium cup and $6 for a large cup for takeaway. I had a Mocha and it was average at best and there are certainly better options on Piper Street for a coffee!
Small quaint cafe. . Nothing special on the menu breakfast wise. Cakes n slices on display looked fab but prices not so much, a lithe pricey. Not a fan of the plastic plates food served on. Service was ok. There are better options in Kyneton for breakfast, but there are worse too.
Emphasis on fresh/homestyle in this tiny cafe/provedore (seems to not sit more than about 16 people, most of whom share the middle table). Great cakes (cheesecake was wonderful, as was the crumble) but pricey. Huge piece of cheesecake ($9), tiny piece of crumble ($6), coffee good. Sandwiches so so, gourmet pies again pricey and apparently not worth the money.Could do with a step up with attitude – not particularly welcoming unless you are a regular (we were ignored in favour of a chat with locals) and bizarrely, food served on plastic plates.
Great coffee and baguettes. Having never been to kyneton before, we are feeling very lucky that on passing through we made the choice to stop at St Beans Providore. Absolutely delicious baguettes (we had ham cheese and mayo, plus a turkey cranberry and Brie one), and the coffee meets our Melbourne expectations! Will definitely stop here again,
