tried this takeaway shop based on zomato and 2nd top..feeding a family of 5 2 adults and 3 kids – great selection of special menu and great value for money!! staff are helpful with customizing family packs according to our needs especially for the kids! the selection pack was amazing and family pack for 2 was enough and had plenty of leftovers for us! the chips were nice and crispy and not overly salted so the kids could enjoy them! the fish was so fresh and the selection of shrimp scallop crab sticks and calamari were all enjoyed by the kids! to add to this we could pick the fish that came with our special pack and not just the usual “flake” in a family pack! overall we loved the food, the service, the staff!! very helpful with my choices and definitely patient with my indecisiveness! will definitely go back!! the quality is amazinngggg!!!
Judging by the number of people in Fish-a-Fare every night, this is a popular place in town.And the staff I worked with agreed that this is #1 for fish & chips in the Lakes area!Great chips- $3 for a very generous minimum serve.Or they offer a variety of packs with chips + fish etc. The flake was tasty but the batter was a little soggy. But the crispy chips made up for it.Take it down to eat near the footbridge or across on the beach – but be warned of the enthusiastic seagulls!

Or bring back to your accommodation to eat. Fish were fresh and really fresh. Chips were not good for me. Too thick, soggy, cold and tasteless. Clean kitchen equipment.
