It was what we expected – which isn’t much. Decent beef schnitzel with chips and veggies (RSL Classic) but the Chinese options are a bit lack lustre. Pricing seems quite excessive for this sort of place and the beer range is straight from the 1980’s.
Great Scotch fillet cooked perfectly with a nice mushroom sauce ,have been here few times and the meals are always good .Even the desert a pineapple fritter with ice cream was very tasty and enough for two people.I would advise to book table as this place gets very busy
RSL club has no visual stand out features but friendly Australian service and great sized dishes and prices. The Irish/Scottish waitress went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.Had the fish of the day- a whole snapper, chips and salad for $26. Only downside was being unable to find information on non members bowls participation.
Food was excellent, staff very rude, drinks way overpriced, if you want a good feed is the place to go but don’t expect to get smiled at or treated with respect.
