Generous portions and well cooked meal. We had a meal here as we were staying and the hotel next door. It was not only convenient but very good. They had a Chinese menu as well as their normal one. The menu was a bit dated compared to Melbourne offerings but the food was excellent. We had the Chili Prawns and a small portion of fried rice. The servings are so generous that one serving of each of these was more than enough for both of us. The prawns were beautifully fresh and plentiful and there were lots of vegies perfectly stir fried. A most pleasant meal at a reasonable price.
Good Honest Tucker. The cliental certainly are the older set of pensioners, but a good range of honest Chinese and Australian meals are presented. The entrance of the sizzling platter turns heads and the seafood on offer was not disappointing. Flake & Chips with Salad was a very generous serve. The Calamari Rings in the Fisherman’s Basket melted in the mouth.
