Found this place open at 7.40, last Sunday night of school holidays in July. Staff were very welcoming. It was card or cash great, as we were travelling home no cash on us. We ate in and ordered gummy shark and minimum chips also potato cakes and fried dim sims. The shark was fresh and cooked beautifully in a light golden batter. Chips were golden and crunchy. Potato cakes and dim sims were good also.I would return here next time I’m through Lakes Entrance. I believe it should rate higher than 3.0

Burger with the lot was good, the flake and scallops amazing. Thick, fresh flake fillet battered perfectly too, too many places these days have thick gooey batter which makes me sick but this was great.I’m really surprised that at the time of writing this, that they are rated only 2.7. Definitely not a accurate rating for wild catch fish and chips. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in lakes entrance.

A nice fish and chips shop. Clean and friendly, with reasonable prices. The blue grenadier was very tender and fresh. The pumpkin cakes were a bit greasy but, hey, it’s a fish and chips shop!

Friendly local service. A bit of a quirky, easylocal vibe. The cooked seafood is very tenderly fried, that feels like it melts in the mouth
