This is our go to place for pizza. We love the chicken scallopini & have it on a regular basis. The lasagna sizes are massive & my partner really enjoys them.
As usual on a late weekday night I went out browsing the neighborhood for local pizzerias. I found this typical take away place just next door to the Laverton Police Station in a tightly occupied street mall with some grocers, etc. I ordered a large size Mexicana for $10.5 that was ready within about 10 minutes. The size is disputable as it is literally a medium size pizza but at the same price as medium pizzas elsewhere so at least you’re not robbed. Go for the Family size if you’re hungry.
All I can say is that I enjoyed it and it was so far the best dough and crust from all the local Altona and Laverton take away places. The dough was paper thin, dry on the bottom and juicy on top and the crust was tasty to the extent that you just don’t want to throw it away. It was pretty close to an Italian pizza but the dough was somewhat different and the flavors were just not fully right. The topping was good and the cheese was not dark brown but I would recommend slightly better ingredients starting from olives. But in general a decent pizza experience.
