  I happened upon Henrietta’s while searching for café to have breakfast, as the one I usually visit while passing through Leongatha was closed for annual holidays. Henrietta’s is a combined housewares/gift shop and café. The exterior sports worn red bricks, but is fitted with modern window frames and large panes of glass There is a small outdoor dining space under a large awning, with planter boxes separating the space from the pavement. The interior décor features an exposed brick wall, exposed steel beams, and a distressed painted concrete floor. The furniture is a mix of black metal tables and matching pressed steel chairs, larger timber tables and some retro and stylishly worn lounge chairs. The venue had a pleasant ambience with some softly playing MOR tracks in the background. I was disappointed, though, to discover that they don’t prepare meals as such, but rather only have a few pre-made items in a glass cabinet. None of these looked appealing to me (and certainly nothing vegetarian), so I missed out on breakfast. However, the coffee was good -well extracted and the service was down-to-earth, casual and friendly.

  Raspberry and white chocolate muffin. YUM. Yes raspberry and white chocolate muffin is delicious. Excellent youthful service and beautiful coffee.See you again next Saturday.

  Not as good as the store that burned down. The atmosphere is not great. I dislike the lay out having to go from one end of the store to the next to order, the food variety is not matched to the previous store
