Somewhere along the line this changed from Raffaele’s to Hok’s???It’s a strange set up, you wouldn’t expect ‘Hok’ to be serving italian food 🙂 The lucky fist pumping cat in the corner is certainly not something I’ve seen in an Italian restaurant before!Meals were bit big but tasted fantastic and didn’t blow out the budget. The waitress we had, who may also be an owner??? was fantastic, very happy and helpful.Glad we didn’t turn around when we saw it had changed hands! We will be back,

We are regulars here. Always excellent service with a smile, always excellent food. My favourite meal is the Pork Belly. All the desserts are delicious.

Won’t recommend them as an Italian restaurant, their service is not bad and the spaghetti bolognese was not that good. Options are limited compared to other Italian restaurants. Won’t be coming back

Steak night at Raffaele’s was fantastic. We both had the rib-eye special. Steak was spot on and well worth the wait, with time taken on careful presentation which was nice to see. At $35 for the rib-eye special including a glass of wine it was outstanding value and quality. We’ll be going back soon

Wasn’t your typical authentic Italian restaurant. Over cooked pasta and I can tell the quality of the ingredients were poor. Nothing like what Ive had in Italy..

Oh my !! What an amazing place. Blew my taste buds away, so nice to find real Italian food with service to follow. I’m so glad you guys are local – thank you

A quirky home styled Italian restaurant with fusion aspirations. Large servings weren’t an excuse for poor quality. I had a crab, fish and chilli spaghetti seasoned with coriander, olive oil, ginger and garlic. It might not sound traditional, but it was surprisingly good. Bruschetta was ok but a little heavy on the balsamic vinegar and the chocolate pudding for desert was rich but too dry for my liking. Service was friendly and prompt and the owner was genuinely warm, giving out limoncello to everyone at the end of the meal. Don’t go here expecting chef’s hat standard, but if you’re up for hearty food decently made, a bit of fusion flavor and a welcoming (although noisy) ambience and you happen to be in Lilydale, give it a go.
