I love this place. It was one of the things I knew i would miss when i moved away from Lilydale. The staff are so friendly, the coffee is amazing. There is really passion and technique here that goes into making your coffee. The Sundae creations for the kids, or the kids at heart, are out of this world. Almost unbelievable creations and definitely worth ordering just for the visual appeal.
Breakfast and lunch food is great, with good choices as well.
After seeing an article on Facebook about their monster easter shakes, we had to give this place ago! We had the crunchie shake and it was pretty amazing (highly recommend sharing one between two), as well as some breakfast and everything was great. The staff were super friendly and the cafe itself was really nicely decorated and fun. Can’t wait to go back!
An over exuberant owner and pretty nasty coffee left a negative experience.
Sorry but we wont be back. Unfortunately not in the most noticeable area of Lilydale, this little cafe wont be in our return list.
A small cafe great for grabbing a coffee on the run. Also the home of rainbow lattes which are funky for a change! However they need takeaway bakery items eg muffins, nice little cakes etc to take away with the coffee
Even though I was in before opening time these guys still pulled out an awesome coffee for me. The shakes look amazing (as do the look on the kids faces when they get them).
We have been here twice and unfortunately we have two very negative experiences. The first time there was a lot of reluctance and eye rolling from the staff when I asked if we could change tables – they had seated us in the very back on a tiny table where it felt like I was sitting right in the doorway to the kitchen, which was loud and very hot. There were two other tables, which they were reluctant to separate just incase a table of four came in (which didn’t happen). My son received his milkshake which he was pretty happy about, so I shrugged off their response to my request for a better table.
We revisited a week later. My food came out without cutlery; I asked a waitress several times, who kept telling me to wait while she went around to every table to take their orders. I got up and asked at the counter, and the woman there just asked the waitress to do it, which again didn’t happen until she had taken more orders. So my food was cold. Not that it mattered; my son’s order was nowhere to be seen, so even if I had cutlery from the start, it wouldn’t have made a difference. About 20 minutes after my food came out, I got my coffee, which usually should come out first. Meanwhile, this entire time my son was sitting there, with nothing. I asked the waiter, who said his milkshake was on it’s way. OK, cool. I see food and shakes being brought out to people inside who had been there less time than us, and food being brought outside to people (who also had to wait for cutlery, btw). At this stage we had been there over 45 minutes. I went inside to find out what the story was. I was told by the man behind the counter that it’s not their fault, it’s been very busy and my sons order (monster shake) takes a long time. As if I, in some way, should have known they did not have the capacity to make the food on their own menu within a 45 time frame, or the ability to serve tables efficiently when busy. This place is unprofessional, the staff are rude, and they are not up to the task of running a cafe. Don’t waste your time or money.

Coffee is amazing nice to have passionate people making good quality coffee. The food is always great , perfect usually on the larger size portions would recommend to anyone but make sure you book as it fills up quick
