Round Bird Can’t Fly is an impressively large cafe with high ceilings and a pleasant interior. For many Lilydalelocals, this is a hot favourite for coffee and is incredibly busy before 9:30am every morning. I often pop in to grab a Skinny Latte and a fresh, hot Muffin to go and am always delighted by both their service and tasty treats.
My favourite is their Berry and Mango Muffin, which when served warm is absolute heaven for me. As I write this review, I find that I’m craving one right now.
I look forward to having a bit more time to spare one day so that I can enjoy one of their hot breakfast dishes.

Cute crockery housing delicious drinks & feasts! No corners cut here, just the tastiest food Ive discovered in a while!
Staff are kind courteousness informative! Once ordered the food arrived in a flash!
-1 for having to wait, as indoor seating is limited yet theres a large space of inside used for a serve yourself market/ deli type set up, not sure if its relevant to them really- just have more tables and feed more people 🙂

The food was great and ideally I would give this a 4.5 out of 5 but gave the 5 rather than a 4. Service and food was excellent. I highly recommend this cafe.
Amazingly friendly cafe with a great vibe and food selection!
They have a dedicated vegan menu, which offers great variety and flavours. We tried a few of the items and were very satisfied!
The decor is great, with seating in and outside. They also have a selection of unique items to purchase separately including vegan cheeses!
The takeaway coffee that we also purchased was also on point.
