This Legendary Fish and chips place in Lorne serves decent fish and chips in the region. We wouldn’t say exceptional but definitely costly and decent enough.
Had the Seafood basket. Decent fish. Calamari better than most places and scallop reasonable. Chips pretty average. Service was good, did not wait long.
Do not try. Lousiest fish and chip I’ve ever eaten. The fish used didn’t taste right and the flour coated on it was bad. Although price is reasonable, but the food really turned us off. Well, need to pay for sauces.
Talk about taking advantage of visitors to Lorne! Extremely overpriced and bad quality. $44 for burgers with chips and calamari with chips! Bring back the old Aussie fish and chip value for money didn’t pay for sauce.
Don’t waste your money in this poorly run shop. The fish was tasteless and felt like it was some cheap frozen fish. The chips are definitely cheap frozen chips. And the worst of all was the $8 coleslaw. Basically no dressing whatsover in that ‘coleslaw’. Disgusting inedible food that’s good for the bin.
