I ate lunch here a couple of months ago and had some vegan quesidillas, and for a non vegan i must admit they were great. The location is superb being set in the bush outside of lorne and the staff are friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning.
Gorgeous little gem in Lorne. Desserts are a must-try! Chef obviously knows his desserts. Lemon tart was the best I’ve had anywhere along the Great Ocean Road. This place is now on our permanent stopover list in Lorne.
Great Meal in Beautiful Setting. The qdos arts centre is a gallery on the outskirts of Lorne, with some interesting art on its walls and sculptures in the surrounding garden, a thoroughly delightful setting for lunch in its pleasant café. We had lunch here with me having a porcini mushroom and spinach risotto and my wife having linguini with mussels and prawns. Both dishes were not just good, they were superb, as enjoyable as anything we have eaten all year. Both dishes consisted of quite generous serves with plentiful mussels and prawns in the one and just the right amount of mushrooms and spinach in the other. Perfectly cooked and seasoned it was a most enjoyable lunch in a beautiful setting. We had previously had a meal here which was also excellent but somehow never wrote it up here. We will certainly come here again the next time we are in Lorne.
Fantastic experience. And here in a group of 9 for breakfast. Great portions, good value for money. Open fire place and tasteful-artistic ambiance. Would definitely come back!
