I have been enjoying Dairy Bell Sundaes for many years. The hot fudge here is one of a kind and the Cookies n Cream is so flavoursome. Also still can’t go past a Rocky Road cone here. Prices are not so cheap anymore but I’d pay $20 for a Sundae here, they are truly one of a kind.

I’m going to take you guys on a trip down memory lane today with a review on Dairy Bell. With so many fancy Gelato places these days, it’s easy to forget the humble old school ice cream shops which started our sweet tooth obsession. Without sugar coating anything, is Dairy Bell as good as it’s successors? That’ll be a definite no. The quality just isn’t up to par for today’s standards, however Dairy Bell will always have a special place in my heart. Just like Neapolitan ice cream, the nostalgia is strong.
On a sunny Saturday in May, we stumbled across this little shop which has moved around the corner from where the big factory and shop was that as a kid had such good memories. Astounded at the huge queue, orders of ice-cream cakes and the one poor staff member who was running around but taking it all in his stride ..He had such a positive, laid back but can-do, helpful and friendly attitude. The hazelnut flavoured ice-cream upon his recommendation was delicious and my 2.5 year old couldn’t get enough of it! Next time we’ll have to sit down to try the sundaes and milk shakes because boy, did they look good!
Last week I went into dairy bell and was served by a lovely young lady by the name of Amy, in a world where great customer service is hard to come by it was so lovely to have been served by you! Thank you Amy for all your flavour recommendations!
