Another donut place to add to the list if ones I’ve tried. Its competitive as there are a lot of donuts out there. Donuts here weren’t anything special
Straight off the bat, I can tell you that Im not a fan. The donut dough was sooooooo doughy and dry. Even microwaving it didnt save it. Usually when donuts are dry Ill pop it in the microwave and warm it up and its good to go but these donuts were still so dry and tough. Really not worth it. And they were sooooooooooo expensive. Better off going to your local Krispy Kremes tbh, cya
After lunch today I decided to pop past here for a mini treat literally… Had the mini red velvet doughnut which was $2 it was so small it was like eating air lol it wasn’t sweet at all it’s like no sugar was put in this mixture. The cream cheese topping was very delightful and just melts in your mouth. Their other doughnuts looks mouth watering and just made me want to buy everything.
I was thrilled to be invited into DD again to try some more delicious donuts. I absolutely loved the zesty lemon meringue which was pretty huge and a perfect balance between the stunning meringue top and the thick tart lemon filling. The peanut butter jelly was also a mouthwatering sensation. I really love this place!

What a delight to be invited to check out Dashing Donuts today. I had noticed them at Chaddy last week en route to the movies and was struck by their vibrant colours and unique flavour combinations. It worked out perfectly as I was heading to a bbq in the late afternoon and knew the six pack would be a massive hit. In fact its probably the must have accessory to take to any Christmas party or summer bbq over the coming months (they also come in a really cute box if you are planning to gift them).
The concept here is simple. Delicious hand made donuts using traditional Italian dough cooked fresh every morning. found the Nutella a little light on chocolatey filling but will probably suit those who dont like their donuts overly sweet. I really enjoyed the salted caramel pretzel topped delight which had a rich butterscotch cream and the textural crunch from the buttery popcorn.
The blueberry glaze was visually stunning with the pop of the freeze dried raspberries and was something a bit special and different to what you usually see on a donut with the sea salt crystals. I actually really loved this one for its distinctive taste. Plenty of variety to chose from and when they taste as good as they look whats not to love?
Soooo good! AND SOOOOO BAD!
okay. I got super excited about these, theyre huge and inviting and beautifully displayed and they have really solid explanations of the flavours so theres no nasty surprises.
The staff are SO lovely, the young girl working there was super nice to me and very patient because i changed my mind like five thousand times and she was really nice about it.
Anyway onto the donuts. I got the red velvet and the dash of pink.
The red velvet looks so unreal, its massive, its sliced in the middle with generous cream cheese frosting piped inside and also on top.
This donut was seriously SO terrible. I dont think ive had a donut this bad. I know what red velvet cake is and i know its not supposed to be sweet….but the frosting with a red velvet is what makes it, its supposed to be a little tart, creamy and semi sweet. This frosting was SO sour, not even semi sweet. It was borderline savoury. The cake was dry and had zero flavour. Felt bad throwing it away, couldnt even finish it, was gross.
The dash of pink is described as a white chocolate donut with dehydrated raspberries and strawberries. And it was SOOOOO GOOOOOD. A generous thick layer of sweet white chocolate ganache, little tart fruits on top to set off the sweetness of the frosting and a super fluffy delicious donut underneath it all. Really really really good.
i wish i got two dash of pinks.
The donuts look pretty appetising and enticing in the cabinet display. For roughly $5 a piece, I expect a damn good donut. However, they were so doughy and heavy that I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. It wasnt enjoyable.
