Honestly, burger was incredible! Cooked to perfection, super fresh and filling! Now the chips… they really mean LARGE when they say LARGE! This was massive and we were impressed! As for the gravy… if you’re coming here for the gravy, I wouldn’t boast about it… just your standard chicken gravy that lacks any rich flavour… however, all in all, it certainly hit the spot! They also sell cans of coke and solo which go down a treat on a rare hot Melbourne day!
Home to Roost is a place I recently discovered and cross suburbs for- the rotisserie chook is the absolute best, alas the chips can be inconsistently cooked and my last lot of roast spuds were disappointing as they were undercooked. I am keen to try some salads next time, but this place has closed for holidays until the end of January.
Sad face.
