Rating based on my 2 experiences, I note this place is now receiving mixed reviews so maybe the quality of ingredients and owners have changed?

First time dined for lunch (a few months after realising this place had opened) with my hubby and new born bubs, was expecting a venue with lots of seating and more ambience, but it is really designed as a take away joint. Good thing was room to fit our pram as it wasn’t busy. The Bowie inspired burger menu is varied and the prices are reasonable based on the size of the burgers.

The burgers are filling and tasty, I added the mac and cheese to my choice of burger, best mac and cheese pattie I’ve had. The burger was served on a fake newspaper, was entertaining reading the articles all about Aussie stuff. Compared to other burgers I’ve had, the burgers here are at the top of my list, the meat patties have been cooked to my liking both times and juicy and tender. The area needs a burger joint option, so it’s a good addition.

Stopped by a few months ago for take away lunch and ordered one of the burgers off the specials menu, it had a crumbed deep fried wagyu pattie which was delicious, wanted to add a mac and cheese pattie but was told they had run out 🙁

I loved the burgers at this place, I do hope it hasn’t gone downhill since my last visit and they take notice of people’s feedback. You’ll just have to give it ago and judge for yourself.

I only order takeaway which is their main business so please dont be put off by some of the reviews here about eating in. For a takeaway burger this place is pretty awesome. Packed full of flavour and presented beautifully (ie not sloppy and oily), the burger is big enough to satisfy most appetites. And whats not to like about listening to some Bowie while waiting for your order??

Im going to keep this short because I dont want to waste too much time on this place

Service was hardly service at all, the girl stuffed our order up then basically made it like it was our fault THEN had attitude youll have to pay for that
No shit we are happy to pay for something we would like, drop the attitude princess

No atmosphere, its a run down and the staff make you feel awkward

The burger and food on the other hand were better than the staff although my aoli sauce was more like watered down mayo

    Food – 5
    Service – 2
    Atmosphere – 0

    Would NOT dine again

If you want to dine-in, it could be a very bad experience for you. The whole restaurant stinks and it’s super smoky. They would try to do all their takeaway orders before they do yours. Food is okay, a burger is a burger.

Tried the Velvet Goldmine burger and wasnt thrilled with it. Kinda lacked flavour. Meat was kinda dry on the outside and was a bit of a sloppy mess to eat. Could have used a more tangy sauce and although the bun was brioche it really didnt have much sweetness to it. Having said that, it was a decent size, huge actually.

One of my favourite burger places in the area. Can always count on them for a good burger and chips. Got a takeaway today that came with a surprise halloween candy. What a treat 🙂

Absolutely the best burger Ive ever had! I got the Drive In Saturday and absolutely enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place! They also provide vegetarian options 🙂
