Dance! Magic! Dance!
I confess I am a Major Tom’s Burger Junkie. They make the best burgers in town plus it’s a David Bowie themed restaurant! It can’t get any better than that! You must try everything on the menu, my fave burgers are The Jean Genie & Wham Bam. Oh and those loaded fries…Get down there now!
The burgers here unfortunately dont compare to the better Melbourne burger joints. The southern fried chicken is juicy but lacks flavour maybe even salt. The crunch factor on the batter/coating is ok.
The coleslaw again lacks flavour and acidity, possibly has no dressing at all. The sauce on the burger also lacks flavour and is runny and not enough of it. The cheese is too much.
The wagyu burger is too dry and well done on the outside and just a distinct pink line in the very centre of the patty like maybe it was cooked at too high heat or the patties were fridge cold when cooked?
Again way too much cheese and too little flavour.
Fries were ok,-again lacking seasoning but crunchy enough.
The place has potential if it makes a few changes. We certainly need a good local burger place.
