I’m not sure why there aren’t that many reviews for this little bakery that has muffins, cookies, buns and specialty loaves for sale.
I purchased an almond croissant and cinnamon bun for an after dinner treat. Both tasted great. The cinnamon bun was lovely after being heated up – not too sweet and just the right amount of cinnamon so that it was not too over powering.
Service was pleasant and there are seats on the outside for if you want to do some people watching while scoffing down some sweet treats.
I’ve been here twice to get a loaf of bread. First time was fine, a somewhat overpriced but decent loaf. Second time I went and got a wholemeal sourdough which turned out to be half uncooked inside – moist, sticky and strongly yeasty-smelling. I think I’m going to give this place a pass from now on.
