Ive tried many Chinese restaurants in the Malvern but have always found this to be the least greasy, freshest and tastiest chinese food. I love it at this place, my favourite is the sweet & sour prawns, special fried rice and home made dim sims 🙂

    More like a 2.8 but I’ll make it a 3.

We used to love the takeaway here but the only yummy thing we had here on the last visit was the spring rolls.

Chicken noodles had a weird taste to them – noodles more like thin spaghetti so a little strange. No flavour at all. Lots of vegetables though so that got them to a 3.

Sweet and sour chicken requested no msg laden sauces so we got a semi fresh pineapple sauce which was nice. Chicken was a bit fatty though. Fried rice was just shredded chicken egg and peas do not much flavour.

Full of yuppie mums with prams with kids who eat bland food so now I get it

Well cooked Cantonese style restaurant with some real gems of you look beyond the standard items and look for the chefs specials written on the wall and if you ask your waiter nicely. The honey roasted pork belly is particularly good.

Have been coming here for years. Favourite restaraunt. Great attentive service and food is exceptional everytime. Would definitely recommend!!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Upon entering you are presented with a tired, but sufficiently clean interior. This is a family run business so don’t expect uniformed staff. The menu is split into the usual western Chinese dishes (sweet n sour pork, lemon chicken and spring rolls) and then the authentic Chinese dishes. I’ve only ever experienced the Chinese options.

This place is a gem for people who want genuine Chinese homestyle food. Having a natural aversion to deep fried or fried food, I generally choose the steamed dishes. The classics in my opinion are the; steamed tofu with minced pork with home made soya sauce, the tofu hotpot with chicken and salted fish or the steamed chicken with spring onions and ginger. If you feel adventurous then the wasabi prawns is an interesting dish. No meal is ever complete without a plate of vegetables. My favourites are; Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce or the green beans with pork mince. Great place for solid and consistently delicious food – think grandma’s cooking. Two thumbs up.

I love your crispy boneless duck. This is so great. Even though, it’s a bit expensive but love love it. Calamari salted and pepper is nice dish.
The other dishes are ok. The service is not too bad.

This is the right place to eat properly cooked Chinese food ! They have the most perfectly cooked roast duck ! Super juicy and crispy. The wasabi beef was cooked perfectly. I was surprised that the complementary soup was a traditional Chinese lotus soup. It is super tasty. They have a friendly service for Chinese restaurant. The price was not expensive for a proper cooked Chinese food. A really qualified Chinese restaurant.
