Went here for a quiet dinner, and that’s exactly what I got. The place is very quiet, and we went around 6:30. Only one waitress, but she was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. The dumplings were good, but nothing special. The fried rice was delicious though.
Staff was so rude to my friend collecting an ubereats order. He was on the phone not acknowledging her, and then he shouted at her for approaching someone else at the kitchen.
I visited Hu pie dumpling and Chinese restaurant today I ordered the noodle and wonton soup. Was very nice, would have liked a little more bok choy but I guess I should have asked for extra. Overall service was nice.! Thank you

Six of us were extremely disappointed.

Excellent food.
We ordered vegetarian spring rolls which were good, then an eggplant dish and a whole fried fish. The eggplant was good and the fish was sensational.

Basic but reasonable cost. Decor a little old but the food is good and the service is friendly. Menu could be simplified. A good place for a Tuesday night.
The vegi dumplings strongly recommended. Other dishes might be good but it’s depends on chef’s mood. The flavor is changeable, so it might be good or not.
