We came here for a bloggers night and had the chance to try an assortment of dishes.
We started the meal with calamari, arancini, chips and olives.
The calamari was extremely tender and paired well with the beer battered chips. The arancini was firm and was subtle in flavour, I enjoyed the sauce that accompanied it
For mains we shared two pastas ( tiger prawn black spaghetti and home made pasta with beef ragu ) , prosciutto pizza and a barramundi dish. The pastas were extremely fresh and you could tell they were hand made – perfectly cooked with great sauces .The pizza was also a favorite amongst the table, a good portion of prosciutto on the pizza with a crunchy base .The fish was also cooked to perfection, I loved the potato underneath the dish and the creamy sauce really made the dish really luxxe
For dessert we shared a creme caramel and a chocolate cake, both were divine but just wish I could have had more
Thanks for having us !
Enjoyed an amazing dinner spread at Sugo recently! Some of my faves were their gnocchi (seriously so delicious guys) and desserts (how can you say no to apple pie?). The arancini balls were fried to perfection as well!
Still need to try their other pasta dishes which look amazing too!

Being lucky enough to attend a blogger event at Sugo, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious dishes, but also made new acquaintances. Suffice to say, it was a wonderful night.
Starting off with entrees, we were presented with a delicious arrays of bites such as arancini balls, saganaki, chips, hummus dip and Sugo bruschetta. The beautiful golden crumbed arancini balls were deliciously moreish, and the smooth and creamy hummus went hand in hand with the soft yet crisped bread.
We were also spoilt with the mains and it was hard to keep up with all the dishes! The beef ragu pasta was the crowd favourite, and not surprisingly so as the sauce was simply divine. The salmon fillet was also very memorable, with its crisp skin and succulent flesh.
Desserts were a chocolate flourless cake and Tiramisu, and these two classic desserts did not disappoint. Each lay on different end of the spectrum – the former being luxuriously rich, while the latter was light yet decadent.
Thank you for having me!
