Had the Avocado smashed with salmon. Delicious. One of the many reason why I enjoy venturing out to the East side of town. I did notice that the time from ordering to getting served is a little slow. However if that is the only issue I would suggest thay you order a McValue meal or something
Poor bitter coffee – seemed like the groups hadn’t been cleaned properly and even by the looks of it, the grinder hoppers looked greasy and brown! Went there as most other good cafes were closed.
Mediocre. Coffee was burnt and so hot that I needed to wait 10 minutes to be able to pick it up. One sip and I didn’t touch the rest. French toast had 3 pieces of bread, a quarter of a banana at most, 1 finely sliced strawberry and a teaspoon of maple. Needs less bread and more fruit + syrup next time. Oh yes, there was apparently mascarpone on my plate too… must’ve been that tiny dot of cream! Must admit the club sandwich was good. Service was okay.
what a pleasant surprise that I found this cosy cafe open on xmas day and the coffee was excellent. I will definitely return for more coffee !
The only place in the area open Xmas Day, so they could have served me anything and i wouldn’t have complained!
Special Xmas Day menu meant it was 2 pages long instead of 4.. great idea. The neals were nice without being so amazing i have to run back.
Wifey ate smashed avo on toast with a poached egg. Not overly generous serve compare to most on the area, but she was happy with how it tasted.
I ate the breakfast burrito with salmon sans spanish onion. Cam blankly on the plate by itself… a small garnish or sonething would have made it presentable. It did taste very nice, but ibwasnt blown away.
Kids shared scrambled eggs which would have to be the first place ever that didnt serve toast with their eggs? A little poor. So i had to order a side of toast which the girls ate in the car, because despite everyone in the restaurant already havibg their meala, it took over 10 minutes to overcook 2 x slices of multigrain.
Ill go back.. when everything else is closed!
We had been recommended to come here as we are malvern locals however the experience was quite undesirable. We had to send the coffee back after repeating the order twice to our waitress. The breakfast platter came out and was cold. It was completely inedible. When I mentioned to the waitress while paying that it was terrible and inedible she just asked me to pay the $44 for both breakfasts. I mentioned again that she should let the chef know and she still didn’t register the issue. We had to pay for a breakfast that was left almost untouched with no form of compensation.
Never again laughing girl. I could of forgiven the meal if the customer service had been up to scratch. I will not be recommending to anyone – rather the opposite!
Amazing coffee.. Just so bloody good:) rushing past, saw the name and thought have to try that place. So very glad I did, coffee guy knew his coffee:)
