What a cute little cafe! When I walked in, I was instantly in love with the decor! White and bright with touches of pink and bonus points for the retro prints of Bubble-O-Bill and Sunny Boys on the walls! The gentleman that served me was super friendly, was super knowledgeable about the menu, gave me a great recommendation for the chia pudding and made it such a lovely experience! The vibe is cosy and chill and it was really nice in there at mid-morning with people grabbing takeaway coffees and a few fellow brunchers in there. The coffee was sooooo good and the chia pudding was insane! Whatever they do to make that granola, they need to sell it in bulk — it was delicious! Perfect sized meal and all the flavours were so complimentary, it was no joke one of the best sweet breakfast items I’ve had in Melbourne. So yum!I’d love to go back and try some of their lunch items too — they looked just as good! Would definitely recommend!
Winter Malvern has got to be one of top brunch places in Melbourne. From modern/clean interrior to amazing food and coffee. We had the beef burger, super green salad and titaya chia pudding. The burger and salad were both amazing. The buckwheat in the chia pudding was a little hard, but overall a really good dish.

We were invited to Winter today and enjoyed a yummy breakfast. I started with a hydrating and refreshing drinking coconut as I awaited my smashed avocado with the addition of roasted tomato. My husband went for the super green salad with a coffee. We resisted the temptation of the fried chicken and waffles and satisfied my sweet tooth in a more nourishing way the delicious mango smoothie. There are plenty of options here for all palettes healthy or otherwise.Original review My brother in law recently moved to the area so we decided to have brunch in his new neighbourhood and settled on Winter given it is the latest offering by the famed cafe family that have given us so many of Melbourne’s best. I ordered the Nutella crumpets and we also ordered the French toast as a shared desert dish. Unfortunately both of those dishes came out almost ten minutes before the other savoury dishes came out for the other two I was dining with. Whilst waiting my poor brother in law took a moment to complain to us of burnt coffee. Sadly when his dish eventually arrived his potato rosti side was rather burnt too! (See photo). I quite liked the crumpets and was impressed by the sound of a number of other dishes on the menu too. The French toast had some very enjoyable flavours but unfortunately the edges were burnt which left an unpleasant charred taste in my mouth. Seems to be the theme of the day. Only one piece felt a little stingy too The waitress came to clear our plates and asked how it was to which I replied it was ok. No response from her asking me to elaborate so I guess she poses the question out of habit rather than actually caring about your experience. Certainly didn’t live up to my expectations
