Food: 4/5!
This is my second time getting the french toast which i absolutely love! Nothing I can fault besides the toast could potentially be slightly crispier along the outside.
The matcha fondant was also delicious!
The bingsu was most disappointing of all the dishes, lacking in sauce given to pour atop, i dessert i unfortunately would not recommend.
Service: 2/5
Service is definitely what drove the rating down. Unfortunately both consecutive times ive dined here, the dishes take a very long time to come out. Both times i received 1 of my dishes and finished eating it, afterwards waiting another 10-20 minutes in addition to repeatedly asking when my dish would be coming.
In addition both visits ive witnessed staff eating the food they put on the plate (biscuits, small sweets etc), whilst plating customers dishes, very unprofessional and unappetising to see.
Overall i would recommend stopping by here for some dessert because they are really yummy! (minus the bingsu)
Ive been wanting to try this place for ages, and I finally found the opportunity to go – it did not disappoint! It was a weekday night so there werent too many customers, and we managed to get a seat easily.
We decided to get a bingsu each – one Mango and Banana, and one Taro flavour. The Mango and Banana one was nice and fruity, very refreshing and light. Although the mango was frozen, the bingsu itself tasted very fresh. The Taro one was also super nice, but the Taro flavour was quite subtle. I wouldve liked if there was more Taro flavour, or if there was fresh Taro. Both came with caramelised almonds which gave the dish lots of texture and a delightful sweetness.
The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is also pretty good. The coffee is nice and strong, and not too sweet.
Overall, its a really good place for some late night dessert – although they also do savoury food which I have yet to try!
