Ordered through uber eats. First bad move. I was bitterly disappointed with the steamed dim sims that came with no soy sauce, which I ordered.
The dim sims themselves were harder than my nipples in the Maribyrnong winter.
Wouldn’t recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Would rather eat from the toilet.
Urinal cakes aren’t that bad.
Don’t go
Last time I came here the food was below average at best. This time, the new owners have definitely produced some high quality fish and chips. The fish was fresh, chips were crunchy, and the chicken salt was sugoi. 8/10 would eat again.
Fish and chips taste amazing since the new owners moved in! The chicken salt is to die for on your chips. Our favourite local take-away place – will be coming back
Went back recently and everything we had was good, if anything the roll for the burger was not as fresh as it could’ve been. They have changed owners i think from last time.
First visit a while back was average. Much better experience recently, new staff this time so it might have changed owners? More of a takeaway shop with only a few seats.
The fish and chips here are yummy very fresh fish and the chips are cooked in cottonseed oil so not greasy at all. The potato cakes are to die for thin and crispy just like they used to be when I was a kid 🙂 and with the homemade meat patties in the burgers you can’t go wrong.
Rockfish was brilliant, then it dipped in quality, then was brilliant again and then it dipped in quality again. I guess that’s what happens when a business changes hands. Recently it was delicious. Fish were perfectly cooked, both grilled and fried. Chips were golden brown and crunchy. Good job. Hopefully the quality stays this way again!
