I’m really impressed with the quality of the milk tea!
They use fresh Aussie milk instead of powdered. And you can really taste the quality of the milk! haha.
The boba is chewy and so good. I definitely prefer this than other bubble tea chains.
It’s just $6.50 (sorta similar to chatime) and has way better quality!
The newest trend is here! Fresh milk with brown sugar bubble tea. This drink is recommended to be stirred and not shaken. Unfortunately the sugar can not be adjusted so it can be a bit sweet but the pearls are perfectly soft and the brown sugar is fragrant.
I got the brown sugar fresh milk one which is a cold drink but came with warm pearls. So it shouldn’t be stirred as instructions have said that this brings out it’s full flavor. It was ok, but was a bit sweet so I stirred and it just became milk flavoured haha.
My partners one is a snow velvet peach oolong tea or something. They took ages to make and it had a cheesy top which I can’t really taste the subtle saltiness in it which usually makes the drink all that better. It was a really flat oolong tea but refreshing.
This is another over hyped bubble tea franchise. Long queue and over priced. So their limited cups per day is just a marketing gimmick to attract people to get in early and buy while stock lasts! Also Brown sugar doesnt costs that much and deerioca is just another marketing spin. Sorry, the Alley is not my cup of tea!
Nice matcha milk with brown sugar pearls. Its a little too sweet if you dont stir it but once you do, the taste was well balanced. The texture of the pearls was also perfect, not too soggy. Long queues but just got to be patient. Order queues clear fast but just got to be patient with the drinks. $6.90 for the regular size, a little pricey to me but I guess its a norm in Australia for bubble teas.
We were at the Highpoint mall the other day and found this new bubble tea joint. We then decided to try it out and ordered their signature drink no 2 which was the cocoa one. It suprisingly took a while to wait until our order was done despite there were 3 staff making all the drinks there. When we finally got the drink, its a bit weird as the pearls were still warm and the rest were cold. They also asked us not to stir the drink to taste the signature flavour. However, that made the drink tasted really sweet and also warm as all of the pearls were at the bottom of the glass. We ended up stirring it and it became a bit better. Overall, we prefer Gongcha better in terms both service and taste. Hopefully they can step up their game and improve.
Ordered the #1 drink which was the Brown sugar deerioca fresh milk.
Fresh milk. Pearls are soft and chewy and soaked in the brown sugar syrup to giving that sweetness to the drink. The more you stir the more toned the drink gets.
Servclice is decent and there is a short queue.
