Wouldnt recommend for fresh salad – not sure how old this salad is that was served up to me but the lettuce leaves are slime and the chickpea salad tastes off. Hopefully do not get sick from the couple of spoonfuls I have had….
We had a quick salad meal from Able Baker Charlie before a flight. I got a combination of salads which I highly recommend as any one of them alone would have been to samie. The salads were fresh and creative and it’s nice to be able to have something healthy before a flight. Service was fast too.
Not a great coffee. Still got a sour taste in my mouth. And slow to make, the barista was having a chat and taking his sweet time. One day Ill find a reasonable coffee at Melbourne Airport but it is not this day.
Cant believe I stumbled upon this place by accident . Managed to get scrambled eggs , toast and a kransky for $12 ! Staff were very nice and approachable and food tasted delicious . Just what we needed after being awake since 4 am . Would recommend !
Came in jetlagged for breakfast. Was surprised at the great prices and amazing quality of food. Well worth the money. Atmosphere is nice and the staff are also accommodating and lovely.
Will have to remember this spot whenever I layover in Melbourne
We had breakfast here prior to flying out, limited options for breakfasts. Noted that all the salt and pepper shakers were empty, however staff just stood around chatting while watching me check every one. They did not attempt to go over fill them after I found the 1 in 20 with pepper in. I guess by there looks and attitude they did not want to be there.
Airport food, expectation none
But surprisingly it’s very tasty
We shared a meatball sub, very generous and very yummy. Can’t complain
The prices were too bad either.
The pizzas looked fresh, so it’s worth a go for those who have a few hours to kill at the Melbourne airport.
