Ordered chicken curry rice and literally came with more sauce than rice. It was served in a small bowl which was covered with piping hot sauce. The guy behind the counter gave me a tray to put on and the tray had uneven surface. So the bowl slipped to one side as I was carrying it and the hot sauce spilled all over my hand! Terrible food and poor service!

The Thai green curry chicken rice has no green Thai curry flavor at all! It was filled with onions and flavorless sauce. The cashier didn’t call us when the food was ready. Totally overpriced!!!

It was ok actually. At airports the options are usually limited, this airport is no different, and I needed a change from main take away chains.
The Malaysian chicken curry was a decent serving and was very tasty. With a large coke it’s $18.40.
Hungry Jacks would be cheaper, but it’s Hungry Jacks. Sure Billie Chu is not up there with the best of Asian cuisine, but for a quick airport snack it’s ok.

Tasty dishes. Easy to eat whilst waiting at the gate! Mostly the stir fry noodles are so yummy. Haven’t tried fried rice or other dishes yet.

Rinse your woks for crying out loud. Wish I’d read the reviews before I plonked down the exhorbitant money for it, because it tastes absolutely nothing like fried kway teow, but of all the other stuff that had been previously cooked in the pan that they did not bother to clean off. A huge disgrace to countless generations of Asian cooks to not even know the basic practice of rinsing and wiping the wok after each dish!

Rude staff. Slow service. Food served to hot to eat

Someone needs to give them some lessons in making kway teow. This is easily the worst kway teow I have ever had. They took forever to take an order at the Melbourne restaurant. There is a Billy Chu at the Adelaide airport and that one is always good – too expensive but the food is always good. Melbourne however, what a joke. I had the kway teow this afternoon and where do I start. There was a curry flavour – yes curry. This tells me they can’t be stuffed cleaning the pan after booking other dishes. There were large chunks of onion. mini corn and carrot – I mean seriously? Carrot???? All this for $14.90. Please – try the pasta stall next door – no one seems to ever be buying from that one so you don’t need to wait and it cannot be as bad as Billy Chu.
