At the airport I was seeing my disabled brother off after he was here for the Xmas break. We got to the airport early so we could share a lunch together, He wanted a slice of pizza.
I purchased the piece of salami pizza for $12.00(plus), at Pasta Pomodoro in the Food Court and the assistant assured me it wouldn’t be tough or hard – though it looked that way BEFORE she reheated it.
My brother couldnt eat it as it was hard and dry. I would have reported this to management, but he asked me not to make a fuss. So $12.00 went into the bin!
Come on Melbourne Airport/Pasta Pomodoro, cant you raise the standards of the quality of food you are serving ? People do expect to pay more for food at an airport (it goes with the territory), BUT …………….not to eat stuff that has obviously sat around for ages in the bain marie & then reheated!
What does this poor quality of food say to travellers? Melbourne Airport is below standard.
