This rating is solely because of their carbonara chicken. All of their other flavours are okay, but I have had better elsewhere too. BUT!!! Their carbonara chicken is too die for, the chicken itaelf is super crispy and the sauce is good, no one else does this as good. So if you come here, make sure you order the carbonara chicken!
One of my favourite restaurants for fried chicken! The chicken is so crispy and juicy, paired nicely with the hot sauce and side dishes. The staff were attentive and friendly. Will be back to try the other dishes!
After getting recommended this place by a friend decided to give it a shot. One thing I would highly recommend is the carbonara chicken – the chicken itself is super crispy and spicy but mixed with the light creamy sauce matched really well. Ordered a few additional sides which included corn cheese which tasted great. The potato wedges could have been better as I felt there should have been more (sour) cream as well as the wedges itself could have been crispier.
Would definitely just come here for the fried chicken with so many choices to suit everyones taste buds.
ABC is one of the most popular restaurant for korean fried chicken. It is always crowded and there wasnt much space. It is famous for the carbonara chicken. The chicken was really crispy. I expected the carbonara sauce to be thicker, so that it could coat the chicken well. The carbonara had a pretty distinct pepper taste. The soy garlic chicken was just ok, not the best. The sweet chili chicken with cheese was pretty good, but it wasnt as crispy as the other ones, probably because of the amount of cheese and sauce. Overall, it might be many peoples favourite, but I think their chicken were just average, compared other places.
The Fried Chicken here is a bit unique in that the flavours are subtly different to other Korean Chicken places in Melbourne. The soya and chilli chicken here is less sweet and more crunchy which is a positive, but the original chicken has a milder flavour which is a negative. That being said, its all still very delicious. The Coleslaw and the Sweet Corn Cheese here are the best compared to other Korean places – which again is also due to its less sugary taste.
The service is a bit whatever but the place has a nice vibe to it overall. I would recommend it over other fried chicken places if you find that Korean chicken is usually too sweet and full on.
We were so lucky to be able to get a table at this busy korean restaurant. We went there with our korean friend, which can imply that it is authentic!
They have a lot of korean fried chicken dishes, some come with cheese. We tried the soy garlic and sweet chilli, I personally like the sweet chilli as it is a bit spicy. We also had corn cheese, totally recommend it was on point.
Tip- bring cash you get discount when paying with cash
Pros: corn cheese is heavenly! Right amount of sweetness and cheese overload. Pretty generous servings of chicken. The original boneless chicken is recommended with dipping sauce. There was a discount when paying in cash.
Cons: the soy garlic chicken was too overpowering in flavour. There were a few bigger chunks of garlic in the dish. Honey mustard sauce was average.
