Possibly one of the slowest restaurants Ive been to. Took about 20 minutes for the pork belly to come out and currently waiting for another half an hour and still our dishes havent come out. Dont ever come here if youre looking for a quick bite cause it will take you about 5 hours before you can leave.

Authentic Shanghai flavours offered at this restaurant hidden on Dorcas Street. Prices are reasonable, only down side is the service, probably due to being under staffed. Absolutely love their Red Bean Pancake.

What I should say ….I went their with my boyfriend and did not happy with their food. One of the cold dish came with a hair…which is defiantly not the hair from head….and asking for return therefore it ruin our all night…
And I gave the point for wonton which was sooooo good! We all love it
    The service was good!
    Food is just fine ….

Typical Shanghainese sweet food. The rice cake crab is really yummy, it taste just like when was in Shanghai, highly recommended, I will like to go back again.

The service was very disappointing. There were no air conditioning for customers when the temperature is 35 degree outside. the most outstanding dish was grill lamb chops, then neither the wonton soup nor the pork feet met the satisfactory line. We were 5 ppl and paid 22 bucks per head. All of us don’t think it worths that much. Won’t be back for another meal.

Taken here by a shanghai friend to share this authentic Chinese restaurant in a hidden away location. The chicken broth was soul warming and the friend fish went down well with rice.

You will surely like the food here if you are a fan of Shanghainese cuisine. The flavours from this region of China are mainly sweet but also have a combination of other tastes. My recommended dishes include the signature pork belly which melt in your mouth instantly, the assorted veggie salad (a refreshing starter), stewed duck and old-fashioned steamed chicken (the sauce that accompanies it is really good). Most of the staff are friendly students. The ambience is comfortable and classy. It’s not the kind of place you would normally walk into without knowing since it is located on a small street off St Kilda Rd opposite the Shrine of Remembrance, but it is a real hidden gem and is starting to become more popular. Do yourselves a favour and check this place out!
