• The Dear Luncher

  Back when The Dear Luncher was a Londoner, Pret-A-Manger sandwiches were a go-to quick meal. In particular there was this crispy bacon and egg sandwich that was regularly scoffed down on those cold London mornings. Ahh the memories. Bon appears to be taking a leaf out of that book with their sandwiches, wraps etc. There is apparently some kind of link between Pret and Bon, unsure about the extent of that link. The chicken chipotle wrap was sampled, and look, apart from the surprise avocado within (death to avocado!), this was a pleasant and swift lunch time option. If you’re after some fairly reliable meals on the go, high-end sandwiches and the like – then Bon could be for you. If you’re not interested in this, then don’t go. In fact, why are you even still reading?

  Real score: 2.5I really really really want to say I like Bon, because they are just so painfully friendly. But their food doesn’t make me really want to eat something, the place is so quiet, and there are flies in the food display cabinet. I had their egg and bacon brioche roll and it’s nothing that screams wow there.

• Some Bunee Loves Food

  I often get coffee from this place and it was nice and quick. Sometimes I get a sandwich here, prices were a bit steep but hopefully they can change up their food here often. I know they have been selling bubble tea for some time and then it disappeared. Good to see they are trying different things :)Got a bacon and egg slider today. Was small but nice. There was a bit of bbq sauce or onion inside.

  The menu is straight talking, no bulldust. Serves are large, price is really good. I have to say it is a clean simple environment but it delivers in spades. Give this place a go.
