GET THE JAPCHAE!!! the best I’ve had so far!

The bbq experience was a let down tho. Other kbbq places help you with the meat but this place is all about DIY. Because we’re clumsy, our meat almost got burnt and the waitress actually sighed at us and came to our rescue. hahaha So if you need help bbq-ing, you’ll know what to do!

Seafood pancake tasted alright but not the best I’ve had. Not very crispy and the seafood filling is pathetic. haha.

I’ll definitely be back for the japchae

Went to Bornga with a group of friends and was thoroughly impressed with everything.
To get to the restaurant there is a little set of stairs to get up, no harm done. Once you arrive, the vibe is great and the staff are already at the front to greet guests.
The menu looks great and seems high end as the price may be a little bit more expensive in comparison to some other Korean restaurants but its worth it!
We ordered a BBQ set along with dishes and they were wonderful! Overall it was about $15 p/p and there was about 6 of us which isn’t too bad as we did order drinks as well.
Another restaurant I would come back and eat again/

Going up a small flight of stairs will bring you up to this modern looking Korean barbecue joint.. Their meats are good and very tasty, you can tell that their quality is very good too.. vegetables set beautifully on a tray when they arrive.. customer service here is pretty good as there is a table service bell that you can hit if you cant grab any of the wait staff to assist.. one thing that was tricky was the type of meats and the grill that they use… for beef you get a mesh grill…and when cooking pork you are supposed to use a different grill to allow the rendered fat to drip to the sides.. we also ordered some dishes like budae Jigae and chap jae which are ok but not that impressed.. one down side of this place is that it is pretty expensive..

Great kbbq right in the heart of Chinatown.
Great decor, and despite the limited menu, every dish is done perfectly!
Love the selection of greens and side dishes. Also great selection of soju. Perfect for a fun night with friends.

Wow their stew sets came with so many side dishes of different varieties that I have never seen before at other korean places. It was filling, full of flavour and service was attentive.

We didnt have a booking and waited for about half an hour until we got a seat (Friday night, arrived at 6pm). The smells were amazing. The cuts of meat were really good and soft to eat, the seasoning they used on the marinade was sweet and garlicy, just how I like it. They refilled our sides and were generous with Kimchi. Service is quick as usual in Korean places because you have the button you can press. The only negative was the kimchi jiggae, which was okay at best. It felt like it lacked something. Would definitely come again but wouldnt order the kimchi jiggae.

Partners colleague from Korean background informed that this was the only Korean BBQ he liked.
We tried the food tonight and we both found it amazing! Service was extraordinary and staff were nice and sweet. I beg that their service ranks no. 1 among all kinds of Korean Restaurant.
Regarding food, beef and pork belly were so nice with chewiness and freshness. Side dishes were all delicate.
