Has everything any traveller would be looking for, great places to eat, street entertainers, trams, bustling crowd, activity all around. A place to spend time !
Lots of life here – some great street theatre and bands. Great shopping and terrific restaurants in the lanes off Collins and Bourke streets. The closest you can get to a European experience without leaving Australia.
Its a nice place ti visit, but I couldnt live there. So much to see, so many shops you can get a bit overwhelmed by it all. (I know how Croc Dundee felt in NY). Very busy & impersonal, but has everything
