Busy place but we managed to beat the dinner rush by arriving before 7:30 pm and was seated immediately.

We had the Combo B beef set menu along with the Bossam for 4 people and it was plenty. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and prices were reasonable.

Highly recommended and would return the next time in Melbourne.

    Hyped korean BBQ.

Ambience: The place is bit hidden in an alley, with the entrance door not very apparent either but there were people waiting even before they open so you cant miss it. The inside was pretty spacious with two areas. It’s pretty dim, especially at night which is classic bbq ambience.

Service: the staffs were nice, the manager especially. My friend got drunk so we spent a long time there but the manager was very considerate and we weren’t notified to leave at all (depsite the queue outside)

Food: Marinated beef ribs were decent. Flavor was quite good however meat was definitely bit tough, portion was okay.

The wagyu was definitely the better one, it was nicely marinated and the beef was tender, as expected of from wagyu.

Side dishes were pretty good. Salad was refreshing and kimchi was good. Rice was too soft though 🙁

I’d probably recommend their set menu for better value.

    Price: reasonable price.

    YUM: marinated wagyu
    NAH: rice

This place is one of the best kbbq I have had in Melbourne!!! We had the pork belly set and a drink set that included beer and soju. Honestly such such good food and had such a fun time because the ambience and the service too!! Just a really really fun time here. Be sure to get there early though as theres always a wait 🙂 will definitely be back!

Two times dine in here and never get disappointed. Had the BBQ packet served with kimchi soup, everything on the table were looking good. Enjoyable and pleasant BBQ, well marinated meat. Kimchi soup were thick and and rich of flavour. As Korean style, they served the meal started with some complimentary pickles, their kimchi is my favourite. Staff were nice and friendly, theyre doing their job very well as they aware of every table that needs service. One thing that I found it interesting, you can put your belongings inside your chair. Highly recommend this place for Korean BBQ.

Okay yes, I have a tiny bit of an obsession with Korean food, but seriously how can you not?…. Chang Go has mastered the fact that every type of meat and marinade will always be perfect, sometimes theres over 300 people coming in a night for a Korean bbq fix but even if youre the 299th person, the meat will still be fresh, all your options are still open, and everyone still has a smile on there face. Lets not forget the fact that they are so cheap! $50 to feed you and a mate with quality meat … come on dont be stingy you know thats cheap … #koreanfood #koreanbbq #meat #grill #pork

Fairly decent kbbq, however you must come early as they do not take reservations and there’s always a long line. We started waiting ten minutes before it opened and we managed to secure a large table for my group. Ordered the Set B with extra pork belly and spicy pork belly. The kimchi seafood soup was delicious, along with the meats, particularly the beef flank. However it is so busy you have to keep an eye on the grill ourselves – we accidentally burn a little bit of our pork belly. The grill isn’t oiled so your meat may be charred if you’re not careful. The seafood pancake was delicious. Only downside is they only allow one small plate of kimchi per table, despite us having nine people. Wouldn’t mind going back, kbbq is always great.
