  • Sylvia's Point Of View

After reading the boasting reviews, my friend and I decided to hold our joint birthday dinner at Da Rin. We had a group of 10 so, I booked a table beforehand. Once we were seated and settled, we proceeded to order 8 dishes including rice to share. Our order included 3x fried chicken (one of each flavour), 1x chunky chips, 1x corn cheese, 1x mandu dumplings, 1x galbijim beef ribs, and 1x kimchi pancake.
Overall, the portion sizes for each dish definitely ran small. However, the dishes were tasty and, when paired with rice and followed up by our BYO birthday cake, were just enough to fill us up.
Each dish came at significantly long time distances apart and gaining the attention of staff was difficult; for water, cake plates, etc.
Ultimately, the experience was above average, but nothing to rave about.

K BBQ | we got a kimchi pancake, garlic and soy chicken & sweet chicken, dukbokki. The service was a bit slow and the portions were quite small for the prices. They had a $15 per person minimum which is actually ridiculous and we were given the littlest amount of pickle to share amongst 4 people and when asked, the girl didnt give us more. Absolutely horrific service and looks like we wont be returning. #melbournefood #marinabrunchnmunch

This restaurant is on the route of tram 86/96 at stop 7.

Went with friends on a Saturday evening and we got a table straight away.

Ordered friend Korean chicken and it was not up to the mark (like Gamis or Nenes).

Corn cheese and Squid Pizza was good. Worth a shot.

    Polite and friendly staff.
