Why a one? Because it has so much promise but sadly failed to deliver on both occasions I visited. A friend visited separately and had an almost exact experience. The meatball roll seems a steal at $10. It is! Because you get one (maybe even half?) measly smidgen meatball that is frugally spread out to cover the roll. C’mon guys, where’s the generosity? And a friendly smile and/or a little bit of interest in the fact you have customers is always preferred. Cute place, great location, major letdown.

This place totally nails the casual post-work drink. It’s a teeny space, but packs a real punch. There are some coveted booths further down the space, some great tables in the window for two, then a series of bar stools scattered around. It’s also got a decent al fresco area. Wines are served at the ridiculously awesome price of $10 (a small selection of reds, whites and rose), and there are plenty of bottles on offer as well. Bottles have their price displayed for takeaway, and another $15 is added if drinking at the bar. There were bottles as low as $20 here, so it’s a great place to come if you want a fancy backdrop without the requisite price tag. Staff are wonderful – attentive and friendly – and do well to manage the constant stream of people flowing through the doors. There’s a small selection of nibbles available like olives and bread. Loved this place. Definitely my new go-to!

There is only a limited selection of food here but they are outstanding. Simple, delicious with super fresh and top quality ingredients. We tried the scampi and swordfish dishes and they both were amazing. Wine selection is very affordable. Service is friendly and not at all pretentious. Staffs are very approachable, they can be forgetful of our orders but overall they are very helpful.
