In search of some sweets after lunch, a friend of mine suggested this place as she wanted to compare them with the ones she had at Dandenong Market. Long story short, avoid this at all cost and make the drive to Dandee.

It was a total disappointment texture-wise. The poffertjes were heavy and dense, and they didn’t fare any better taste-wise. If not for the butter, powdered sugar and maple syrup, it would have been hard to stomach the tasteless and limp morsels of cooked batter.

The only thing that’s worth mentioning would be the friendly service.

    Mini cute pancakes!

Ambience: Located at Queen Victoria market, it’s like an old carriage. Theres some seats around it but it’ll be full i guess.

Service: The people serving me was pretty nice, card is accepted here and the food took some time but with so many people buying its reasonable.

Food: The pancakes were definitely different from usual ones, its smaller, fluffier and tasted a bit more bland. I had them with sugar and butter, plus lemon and maple syrup (because they said i can mix). They all work really well together, though i’d like it if it’s a bit sweeter and a bit crisper on the outside. But it’s a really nice small yummy treat.

Price: To be honest, it’s bit pricy for a snack.

    YUM: none
    NAH: none
