I used to love coming to this place, nice staff and great food. But then that completely flipped. The last five times I’ve been there my food has been burnt and the wrong order and 2 of the 5 times the staff were arguing behind the counter. And this happens in a range of LOTF restaurants. If these people expect me to keep coming in they really need to get a grip and up there game!!!!
Breakfast is the best value at LOTF, and now you can get it all day. The chicken and waffles sandwich is good but the BLT was too saucy and skimpy on the veg. I also tried my friend’s chips and dog with Mexican sauce. The hot dog was between a bunch that was nearly split in half and very hard to eat. Chips were alright. I wouldn’t choose that sauce topping but at least it had a nice spice.
We tried the Classic and Chunky chips. The classic chips were below average, not crispy at all and needed seasoning. The Chunky chips were slightly better, at least they were crispy, but still lacked flavour. Unfortunately we chose the Belgian mayo as the sauce, which did not taste great – really disappointing for a mayonnaise. We didn’t even finish them and threw them away.
Hot, fresh fries and delicious, one-of-a-kind sauces! I’ve tried all the classic sauces and the Canadian deluxe sauce, which is so good. Personally, my favourites are the Indian and Vietnamese sauces. The fries are always crispy, and the service is prompt. The interior has very nice vibes but it’s very cramped, so I would recommend against dining in. HSP is also incredible, but I’m not a huge fan of their mock meats, which tend to be a bit dry and bready.
